International Markets Regain Momentum 🌤️ The Morning Print
Good morning!
International markets are ripping this morning on news of a ceasefire.
Let's take a look.
International equities continue to generate alpha beyond the United States.
The Euro Stoxx 50, German DAX, UK 100, and Nikkei 225 are all outperforming the S&P 500 on a year-to-date basis.
For a moment, each of these indexes appeared to be breaking below their respective highs, but ceasefire headlines completely reversed that narrative.
Now, these markets are pushing higher with authority in what looks like a classic failed breakdown.
Follow-through is still required, but this is an encouraging start and this type of momentum provides a constructive backdrop for further upside.
