Chart of the Day
π Today's Chart of the Day was shared by Frank Cappelleri (@FrankCappelleri).
- June came to a close today, with the S&P 500 rising +5% for the month. The index notched its first monthly all-time high since January and its first back-to-back gain since September.
- April's massive reversal candle was confirmed last month, with the index gaining +6.2% in May. The reversal was further validated with this month's all-time high.
- Frank points out that this pattern resembles the reversals from December 2018 and March 2020, both of which led to multi-month rallies persisting for at least four consecutive months.
The Takeaway: The S&P 500 climbed +5% in June, notching fresh monthly highs and building on Mayβs momentum. If history repeats, the summer rally could have legs.
Quote of the Day
